2. About the Service

BlockSizedX is operated by Muhammed Nazal Naufal, an independent freelance web designer and developer based in Kannur, Kerala, India. Services include website design, development, and related digital solutions.

3. Project Engagement

All services are provided on a project basis. Scope, pricing, and timelines are agreed upon through written communication before work begins.

• Clients must approve all project details before commencement.
• Any additional work beyond agreed scope may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.
• BlockSizedX reserves the right to refuse or terminate any project at its discretion.

4. Payment Terms

• Clients must pay all required expenses in advance (such as domain, hosting, or third-party services).
• The remaining project payment must be completed after deployment.
• If final payment is not made, BlockSizedX reserves the right to suspend or remove (undeploy) the project or website.

5. Refund Policy

• Clients may request a refund within 24 hours of making the initial payment.
• After 24 hours, payments are non-refundable.
• No refunds are provided after project completion or deployment.
• If a project fails due to an error on the part of BlockSizedX, a partial or full refund may be issued, excluding third-party expenses.

6. Project Delays

If the client fails to provide required content, approvals, or responses in a timely manner:

• Project deadlines may be extended accordingly.
• In cases of prolonged inactivity, the project may be suspended until communication resumes.

7. Intellectual Property

All underlying code, systems, frameworks, and technical implementations remain the intellectual property of BlockSizedX.

Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the final delivered website for its intended purpose.

• Clients may use and manage their website through provided interfaces (such as admin dashboards).
• Ownership of third-party services (analytics, hosting accounts, etc.) remains with BlockSizedX unless otherwise agreed.

8. Maintenance and Support

• BlockSizedX will fix any bugs or issues directly related to the original development.
• Ongoing maintenance, updates, hosting, and domain services are subject to recurring charges (typically yearly).

9. Account Usage

This website includes an optional account system used only for basic interaction, such as contacting the site owner and understanding general user engagement.

User authentication is handled securely through Firebase Authentication. Passwords are managed by Firebase and are not accessible to BlockSizedX at any time.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. BlockSizedX is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from user-side negligence.

This account system is not used for financial transactions, purchases, or sensitive data processing.

10. Prohibited Use

Clients may not use services provided by BlockSizedX for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities, including but not limited to scams, illegal content, or copyright violations.

• BlockSizedX holds no responsibility for how clients use delivered services.
• Any misuse may result in immediate suspension or termination of services without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlockSizedX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use services or the website.

12. Third-Party Services

Projects may involve third-party services (such as hosting providers, analytics tools, or APIs). BlockSizedX is not responsible for failures, downtime, or data practices of these services.

13. Changes to Terms

BlockSizedX reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Kerala, India.

15. Student Project Disclaimer

BlockSizedX is a student-led portfolio project created for educational and demonstration purposes.

This website does not process payments, sell products, or provide financial services. Any account functionality is provided solely for communication and basic interaction.
